Flaming Gorge Ranger District
Whether you're boating, fishing, swimming, camping or just passing through, there is one thing for certain, the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area is majestic. Glassy mornings on the lake, white water rapids, and scenic canyon views are the backdrop to your camping adventure. The 91-mile long reservoir, created by the Flaming Gorge Dam has over 300 miles of shoreline, boat ramps, full service lodges and marinas. Anglers from all over have inspiring tales of fishing the "The Gorge". Two Scenic Byways and two Scenic Backways lead you from spectacular view to spectacular view. We operate eleven facilities in the area.
Firehole CANYON Campground
Firehole Canyon Campground is located 15 miles from Rock Springs, Wyoming on the Flaming Gorge Reservoir. Set in a desert area with olive trees, beautiful views of the reservoir and rock formations, this campground has 37 single campsites. A beach, day use area, and boat ramp are nearby. This developed campground has flush toilets and showers.
Buckboard Crossing Campground
Buckboard Crossing Campground is located 25 miles south of Green River, Wyoming on the Flaming Gorge Reservoir. This developed campground has flush toilets and showers.
Stateline Cove
Stateline Cove is beach camping on Flaming Gorge Reservoir near the Wyoming border.
Lucerne Campground
Lucerne Campground is located near Manila, UT, near the Wyoming border and on the shores of Flaming Gorge Reservoir.
Carmel Campground
Carmel Campground is 3 miles south of Manila, UT, in the Sheep Canyon Geological Area.
Willows Campground
Willows Campground is 3 miles south of Manila, UT, in the Sheep Canyon Geological Area.
Manns Campground
Manns Campground is 3 miles south of Manila, UT, in the Sheep Canyon Geological Area. Campsites are adjacent to Sheep Creek.
Sheep Creek Bay Campground
Sheep Creek Bay Campground is named for its location on Flaming Gorge Reservoir.
Kingfisher Island Boat-in Campground
This boat-in campground is named for its location on Kingfisher Island on Flaming Gorge Reservoir. There are 8 tent sites on the east side of the island.
Hideout Canyon Boat-in Campground
Hideout Canyon Boat-in Campground is on Flaming Gorge Reservoir; a couple miles south of the Sheep Creek boat ramp. This popular campground gets its name from a hiding spot used by Butch Cassidy and his gang. 14 of the 18 tent-only campsites may be reserved at least 4 days in advance of your arrival.
Summit SPRINGS Guard Station
The Summit Springs Guard Station consists of a cabin, bunk house and 5 sites for up to 40 people.

Deep Creek Campground
Deep Creek Campground is on the banks of Deep Creek on the north side of the Uinta Mountains.
Browne Lake Campground
Browne Lake Campground is on the shores of Browne Lake on the north side of the Uinta Mountains. There are 20 first-come-first-served campsites and 4 40-person group site that can be reserved.
Spirit Lake Campground
This popular campground is on the shores of Spirit Lake on the north side of the Uinta Mountains.
Red Canyon Campground
Red Canyon Campground is located on the rim of Flaming Gorge Canyon.
Canyon Rim Campground
Canyon Rim Campground is located on the rim of Flaming Gorge Canyon.
Greens Lake Campground
Greens Lake Campground is located on a small lake of the same name, on Red Canyon Road near Red Canyon Lodge.
Skull Creek Campground
Skull Creek Campground is located off Highway 44 on a hillside forested with ponderosa pine and aspen. Visitors enjoy hiking and biking on local trails and boating, fishing and swimming on the nearby Flaming Gorge Reservoir.
East Park Campground
East Park Campground is located on East Park Reservoir about 32 miles north of Vernal, Utah, off Highway 191.
Lodgepole Campground
At 8,000 feet, Lodgepole Campground is nestled in a lodgepole pine and quaking aspen forest. Flaming Gorge, Utah, less than 20 miles away. Summer wildflowers are abundant in this shady, secluded campground.
Greendale Campground
The Greendale campgrounds are located 1 mile from Firefighters. Greendale Family Campground has 8 single sites, and Greendale Group Campground has 2 group sites.
Firefighters Campground
Firefighters Memorial Campground is located about 5 miles from Dutch John at an elevation of 6900 feet. Set in a wooded area near the Green River, this campground has 93 sites. Campers come to swim, boat, fish, hike, sail, scuba dive, and enjoy the beautiful views of the reservoir.
Deer Run Campground
Deer Run Campground is located 5 miles from Dutch John at an elevation of 6100 feet. Set in rolling terrain within 1 mile of the Flaming Gorge Reservoir, this campground has 20 single sites. Campers come here to boat, fish, hike, water-ski, and swim.
Cedar Springs Campground
Cedar Springs Campground is located 5 miles from Dutch John at an elevation of 6100 feet. Set in a rolling, wooded area, this campground has 21 campsites. Campers come here to fish and boat.
Arch Dam Group Site
Arch Dam is 2 1/2 miles from Deer Run, and has 3 group campsites.
Dripping Springs Campground
Dripping Springs Campground is located 3 miles from Dutch John at an elevation of 6000 feet. Set in wooded, rolling terrain near the Flaming Gorge Reservoir, this campground has 25 single sites. Campers come here to fish, hike or float down the green river.
Dutch John Draw Group Campground
The group campground is located about 2 miles west of Dutch John on Flaming Gorge Reservoir.
Mustang Ridge Campground
Mustang Ridge Campground is located 7 miles from Dutch John at an altitude of 6300 feet. Set in a pinion pine and juniper area on Flaming Gorge Reservoir, this campground has 72 single sites. Campers come here to fish, hike, boat, water-ski, and enjoy the beach area.
Jarvies Boat-In Campground
Jarvies Boat-in Campground is located on the Flaming Gorge Reservoir, a 20 minute boat ride from Cedar Springs Marina.
Antelope Flat Campground
Antelope Flats Campground is located 12 miles from Dutch John at an elevation of 6060 feet. Set in sagebrush covered hills on the Flaming Gorge Reservoir, this campground has 51 single sites. Campers come to fish, boat, swim, hike, and enjoy the beautiful views and beach area.
