To the millions of Los Angeles-area residents and to visitors from all over the world, the Angeles National Forest provides a thousand square miles of open space and a variety of recreation opportunities year-around.  the California Adventure Pass is required for all Day Use areas and trailhead parking.

Jackson Flat Group

This campground is set among groves of pine and fir trees at an elevation of 7,500 feet, and accommodates only walk-in tent campers. Parking is limited and carpooling is recommended.

Lake Campground

Elevation: 6,100', 8 Sites. Reservations may be made May 15-Sept. 15.  Piped water during summermonths, vault toilets, tables. RV's to 18'. Groceries and servicesavailable in the community of Wrightwood (approximately 5.5 miles).

Mountain Oak Campground

6,200-foot elevation. 17 sites on Big Pines highway. Popular snow play area nearby at the ski complex. Fishing in nearby Jackson Lake.   Reservations may be made May - November.  Piped water in summer months, firepits, tables and flush toilets. RV's to 18'.  Groceries and services available in the community of Wrightwood (approximately 8 miles).

Table Mountain Campground

At 7,000' elevation, Table Mountain Campground is closed during the winter months.  First-come-first-served sites are available from early-May to early-November.   Advance reservations are available through www.recreation.gov for 40 out of the 115 campsites.  Potable water is available in the campground.
