Cove Creek Campground has 63 campsites, including 5 double sites, and a large group camp that accommodates up to 70 people. Cove Creek is heavily wooded; providing limited views of the lake from shady campsites.
Cove Creek is generally open from mid-May through late September. Campsites have picnic tables and fire rings. Drinking water, boat ramp, flush toilets and coin showers are also provided. Campers enjoy fishing, boating, swimming, hiking and biking in and around Detroit Lake. Cove Creek has both first-come-first-served campsites and those that can be reserved at least 4 days prior to your arrival. The Group site may be reserved up to one year in advance of your arrival.
