Spring Trout Stocking

Almost 4,000 trout will be stocked in each of Alder and Dune Lakes near Florence, Oregon, in 2016.  The ODFW has stocked the lakes with 2370 legal (8"), larger (12") and trophy (16") trout so far this year.

Another 850 legals, 225 larger and 36 trophy-size trout will be stocked in EACH of Alder and Dune lakes the week of April 18-22.

Alder and Dune lakes are located in Alder Dune Campground; about 6 miles north of Florence, Oregon.  The portion of the campground near Dune Lake is open year-round for camping and fishing.  A Day Use parking area is adjacent to the lake.  Use your America the Beautiful Senior or Access pass to park in the Day Use Area for free.  Take a short walk through the campground to fish in Alder Lake.
