Winter snow play near Las Vegas, Nevada

Mt Charleston is THE place for winter activities near Vegas.

As soon as the snow base reaches 12" deep, and the roads are safe to drive, c'mon up!

Foxtail, Kyle Canyon, Fletcher View and McWilliams day use areas are open from dawn to dusk, 7 days/week for playing in the snow; weather permitting.  Kyle Canyon Picnic area is not appropriate for sledding or tubing.  Foxtail has 5 hills available for age-appropriate tubing and concessions for cold weather supplies like hats, gloves, chapstick, hot coffee and chocolate, etc.  Foxtail was recently renovated.  It has new roads, parking, tables, grills, signs, bathrooms and more seating.

These are "use at your own risk" facilities.  A signed insurance waiver is required before use.
