Stillwater Campground is located just off the Mirror Lake Scenic By-way just 32 miles south of Evanston, Wyoming.  The campground is situated at 8,500 feet elevation along the Stillwater Fork River.  A thin forest of pine and aspen trees provide only limited shade.  Summer wildflowers and grasses dot the landscape.  Fly-fishing is a popular activity for campers.  The confluence of Stillwater Fork and Hayden Fork rivers are just outside the campground.

Stillwater is generally open from late May through Labor Day.   3 group camping sites may be reserved up to one year in advance of your arrival.  The campground has both first-come-first-served and reservable campsites for single families.  Follow the link to check rates, availability and current alerts:  Recreation.gov \ Stillwater

A day-use picnic area is located at the end of the campground road.  Vault toilets and trash collection are provided.  Firewood is available for purchase from the host.  Roads and parking spurs are not paved.
