/Anderson Cove Campground
Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest \ Ogden Ranger District
Anderson Cove Campground is nestled in the scenic, high-mountain, Ogden Valley on the southern shore of Pineview Reservoir. Pineview is a close retreat from the valley heat of the Ogden metropolitan area. Note to visitors: The city of Ogden is not in Ogden Valley.
Pineview is a very popular area for camping, picnicking, swimming, boating and fishing. Anderson Cove is generally open from early May through mid-October; weather permitting. 78 campsites are spread out over a flat, grassy, partly shaded, area overlooking the lake. 5 group sites can each accommodate up to 100 people. 10 people are allowed in single sites and 20 in double sites. Reservations are recommended on weekends and holidays; especially during the hot summer months. Check rates and availability here: Recreation.gov.
Sites have plenty of room for RV's but there are no water, sewer or electrical hookups. The campground has drinking water, vault toilets, boat ramp, swimming beach and dump station.
