American Land & Leisure manages over 400 campgrounds in 12 states for the Forest Service, Pacific Gas and Electric and California State Parks.  We have an immediate need for an area manager couple at one of our state parks in Central California.  The ideal couple will have previous camp hosting and/or area manager experience.  A strong maintenance and business background will be helpful.  Computer skills (MS Office and email) are helpful, but not necessary.  You will be responsible for the company’s relationship with our partner in your area.  You will be responsible for the success of all of your employees.  This is a working position.  You will be working in the campgrounds alongside the camp hosts doing, among other things, landscaping, site cleaning, restroom cleaning, handling customer complaints, and scheduling employees for work.  On a weekly basis you will collect all of the monies collected by your employees and make bank deposits of those monies.  A large part of your work will involve maintaining the water systems in the campground.  Our staff in the corporate office is committed to helping you succeed in this position and you will receive a large amount of support from us.
