Deadman Campground is located in a forested area on the banks of the Middle Fork Stanislaus River within the scenic Brightman Recreation Area. Baker Campground and Kennedy Meadow Trailhead are nearby. Deadman is generally open from late April through mid-October. Campers enjoy fishing, hiking, wildlife and enjoying the peace and quiet.
All 19 campsites are first-come-first-served. No reservations are taken for Deadman. Campsites have a picnic table and campfire ring. Vault toilet restrooms, garbage containers and piped drinking water is provided in the campground. There is no RV dump station.
