Ponderosa Cove Campground is on the opposite side of the road from Stumpy Meadows Reservoir. The campground may be reserved for groups up to 75 people. If it is not reserved, the campground may be used for first-come-first-served campers. 5 campsites and 10 walk-to tent sites are provided. Vault toilets and two water faucets are provided.
The campground is generally open from early May to mid-October. Reservations, through www.recreation.gov, are taken up to a year in advance for camping through mid-September. After the reservation season, campsites are first-come-first-served only. Check with the Campground Manager or call 1-800-342-2267 for single site rates.
