Delta Campground, McKenzie River, Oregon - Virtual Tour

Delta Campground

Willamette National Forest \ McKenzie River Ranger District

Delta Campground is one of the largest and most scenic campgrounds on the McKenzie River Ranger District.  38 sites are nestled in an old-growth forest of towering Douglas fir and western red cedar.  Campers enjoy rafting in the adjacent McKenzie River, boating in the nearby Cougar Reservoir and soaking in the nearby Terwilliger Hot Springs.

Each campsite has a picnic table and fire ring.  Drinking water, vault toilets and garbage disposal are provided.  Tents and RV are welcome.  No RV hookups are available but most campsites are pull-throughs that can accommodate a maximum vehicle length of 35'.  Enjoy a short botanical walk on the Delta Old Growth Nature Trail or hike and bike any number of longer trails in the surrounding Three Sisters Wilderness.  A Day Use area and amphitheater are also available at the campground.

Delta is generally open from mid-April through mid-October although weather conditions may alter opening and closing for first-come-first-served camping.  Check rates, directions and availability here: Recreation.gov \ Delta
