/Outlet Bay Campground
Idaho Panhandle National Forest \ Priest Lake Ranger District
Outlet Bay Campground is generally open from mid-May through Labor Day. This 27-site campground is situated on the southwest shore of Priest Lake at the headwaters of Priest River. Campers come to Outlet for sunshine, fishing, boating, kayaking, wildlife and the breathtaking views of the rugged Selkirk Mountains. Priest Lake is one of three of the largest and most beautiful lakes in the Idaho Panhandle. Check out the Thorofare and Beach Trail #48.
Campsites have a picnic table and fire ring. Drinking water, vault and flush toilets and garbage disposal are provided in the campground. No RV hookups are available but many sites are large enough to park an RV and boat trailer. Outlet is also great for tent campers and several sites are waterfront sites. A public RV dump station is located 5-miles south of the campground, at Upper Luby Bay, on Highway 57.
