PG&E Motherlode Watershed \ Carson Pass Area

Middle Creek lies between Upper and Lower Blue Lakes.  This area is just 12 miles south of the Carson Pass Highway (Hwy 88) in Northern California.  PG&E manages the hydroelectric power plants on the lakes, provides campgrounds and access to the lakes and Middle Creek for fishing, swimming and boating with small boats.

There are 40 campsites between the Middle Creek and Middle Creek Expansion campgrounds.  These high elevation campgrounds, 8100', provide camping from early June to mid-October.
